Hongyuan got his PhD degree of Optical Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 2016. Currently, he is applying spontaneous Brillouin scattering to in-vivo measurement of corneal biomechanics, aiming at understanding stiffness variation caused by different diseases.
